Receipts

The FOCBS generates a significant proportion of federal receipts.

In 2025, the FOCBS collected a total of CHF 23.4 billion in customs duties and levies at the border and within Switzerland. The level of receipts thus remained stable. They accounted for around a third of the total federal receipts of approximately CHF 87 billion.

The largest proportion came from value added tax and mineral oil tax.
