The FOCBS seized 7,037 kg of narcotics in 2025.

In 2025, the FOCBS seized a total of 7,037 kg of narcotics. Nearly four times as much marijuana was seized (2025: 4,235 kg / 2024: 1,104 kg). The quantity of seized designer drugs also increased significantly (2025: 2,415 kg / 2024: 175 kg), due in particular to a single seizure of more than 2,000 kg of so-called “THC edibles”, foodstuffs containing fully or semi-synthetic cannabinoids.

In addition, more cocaine (2025: 356 kg / 2024: 272 kg) and heroin (2025: 26 kg / 2024: 12 kg) were seized, while fewer amphetamines and methamphetamines were confiscated (2025: 5 kg / 2024: 44 kg).
