DaziT

Launched in August 2023, the e-vignette shows a positive trend with significant sales and an increasing market share. The QuickZoll app for private goods traffic and the Activ app for faster border crossings are also experiencing increased usage. Passar successfully replaces NCTS, while Prezius optimizes central processes.

Digital transformation: The apps of BAZG are being used more and more frequently.

Launched in August 2023, the e-vignette is enjoying growing success. Around 3.8 million of the 2024 digital version have been sold, representing 35% of the total number of vignettes issued. Its ease of purchase online and lack of physical sticker are appealing to users. By the end of January 2025, more than 2.5 million e-vignettes had already been sold, 500,000 more than a year earlier.

QuickZoll

In private goods traffic, the QuickZoll app continues to grow: in 2024, traveller declarations and receipts collected increased by 60%. The lowering of the tax-free limit to CHF 150 on 1 January 2025 should further reinforce this trend.

Passar

In commercial goods traffic, 2024 marked the deactivation of NCTS and the full adoption of Passar for transit operations. Since 17 March 2024, 28 million national declarations and 18 million international transit declarations have been recorded in the new Passar system. In addition, 15% of Swiss exports are already processed in Passar.

Activ

The use of the Activ application, which enables faster border crossings thanks to the automatic activation of customs declarations, increased by 17% in 2024.

Since 1 May 2024, Prezius has centralised requests for services from Precious Metals Control. The new application has already processed nearly 10,000 requests for 1.69 million hallmarked items. Stadi, meanwhile, allows professional importers to generate road vehicle tax certificates themselves. Since 3 December 2024, 25,000 vehicles have been registered in this way.
