The FOCBS as a federal prosecution authority
Together with its partners in Switzerland and abroad, the FOCBS additionally makes an important contribution to Switzerland's safety and security in the area of criminal prosecution and the fight against cross-border crime, as smuggled goods are a problem for the country and the Swiss economy, and can also carry risks for the Swiss population – especially in the food sector, and in particular in the case of meat smuggling.
