At the FOCBS, the overall proportion of women was 25.8% in 2022.

The FOCBS employs people from all walks of life: from cabinetmakers to car mechanics to former bank employees – they have all chosen to switch jobs and follow a new career path. Last year, the first customs and border security specialists were sworn in for duty. In total, 48 people have become the first cohort to complete basic training in this new job profile. 2022 has seen the start of a further two training courses, attended by a total of 162 candidates.
