Exporters must determine for each item if it falls under regulatory obligations. The process requires correct input of all relevant details in the Passar system, particularly for goods subject to permit requirements or exceptions. These measures protect the population, environment, and economy.
The following pages contain information on goods or products in regard to which import, export, or transit is prohibited. For instance, this applies to narcotics and protected animal and plant species. Certain goods may be taken across the border only on a restricted basis or with a special permit, such as arms.
