Importation into Switzerland

Import customs declaration e-dec web

Since 2012, e-dec web allows direct import customs declarations online, offering validation, templates, and is compatible with EU security initiatives.

Customs Tariff - Tares

Tares offers the possibility to search for a customs tariff and the applicable taxes and duties. It also provides information on tariff-related topics.

The official customs clearance app for registering your personal goods

QuickZoll

QuickZoll is the Swiss Customs app for individuals, allowing the tax-free importation of goods up to CHF 150. From January 2025, the tax-free limit for travelers will be reduced. Some goods are subject to restrictions and must be declared at a staffed border crossing.

Road levies

Via – Pay lump-sum heavy vehicle charge (PSVA) online

The Via Portal can be used to pay the lump-sum heavy vehicle charge (PSVA) for vehicles that are registered outside Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein, regardless of time and place.

E-vignette

The electronic toll sticker (e-vignette) can be obtained via www.e-vignette.ch from the «Via Portal» of the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (FOCBS).
