What do I have to be aware of when buying jewellery or watches online?
We would discourage you from ordering from abroad jewellery, watches or other objects made from precious metal online. Very often, these goods are fakes or of inferior quality.
It is our responsibility to check parcels of this kind coming into Switzerland via the postal system. If the purity of the precious metal is inferior to the level indicated or if it is forged, the goods will be confiscated, even if you have already paid for them.
