Motorway charge (vignette)
Use of Swiss motorways is subject to a charge. The motorway charge must be paid by motor vehicles and trailers that are not subject to the heavy vehicle charge. The charge is levied in the form of a vignette.
E-Vignette and adhesive vignette
Purchase your vignette before entering Switzerland. The e-vignette can be conveniently purchased online at www.e-vignette.ch, while the adhesive vignette is available through numerous automobile clubs. In exceptional cases, the adhesive vignette can also be purchased at selected customs offices when crossing the border.
