Emotach/HVC (LSVA) II

The existing system for levying the HVC is being completely renewed. The replacement by the new system (HVC/LSVA III) must be completed by the end of 2025.

Please note the following checklist for conversion to the new HVC III system: Checklist for changeover to HVC III.

Removal instructions:

Please note the following points before removal:

• An HVC III connection solution must be in place before removing the Emotach device
• With the NATRAS solution, the Emotach device's connection cable and bracket can continue to be used
• Submit the final mileage declaration to the FOCBS immediately before removal
• Emotach devices must be disposed of independently as electronic waste

EmotachDirect vehicle owner software

The Emotach must be replaced by the end of 2025 at the latest. Operational support for the EmotachDirect vehicle owner software will be available only for the following cases until the end of 2025:

• DGC server connection problems
• Transmission problems
• Declaration questions
• Replacement card orders

Support for technical issues has been discontinued, as has the Mobatime hotline.

If your EmotachDirect system can no longer be restored to working order, you must switch to the HVC III system.
