HVC decisions and HVC invoices
The documents will no longer be sent by post and must now be retrieved from ePortal via Chartera Output. Registration in ePortal is required for this.

Decisions and invoices are issued monthly (as a rule, the decision is issued on the 14th day and the invoice on the 21st day of the following month).
Refunds and concessions
You can apply for refunds or concessions for the following types of transport:
- Trips in unaccompanied combined transport
- Transport of raw timber
- Transport of bulk milk
- Transport of agricultural livestock
- Transport of relief goods
Concessions and refunds must be entered in ePortal. Registration in ePortal is required for this. Further information about registration can be found on the following page: HVC III in ePortal.

HVC joint liability
The Heavy Vehicle Charge Act (Art. 5a) designates the following persons as jointly liable:
- owner of a motor vehicle
- lessor of a motor vehicle
- leasing provider of a motor vehicle
They are jointly liable for:
- the charge for the motor vehicle
- the charge for any trailers carried
- any interest and fees incurred in this context
Upon request, the FOCBS can confirm to the jointly liable persons that the vehicle owner is neither insolvent nor has been issued with payment reminders to no avail.
