Involved parties

The transformation of the FOCBS involves an active and close collaboration with numerous partner organisations and stakeholder groups.

• 15 meetings were held with the business advisory group and 12 working groups were set up for stakeholders
• 40 coordination meetings were organised with the customs authorities of neighbouring states and the EU's Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union (TAXUD)
  
• 72 meetings were held with staff associations
• More than 100 information events were held in three languages for FOCBS managers and staff
  
• 118 comments comprising 1'663 pages were drafted during the consultation on the total revision of the Customs Act
• More than 250 technical questions from external software developers were answered (software development working group)
• More than 1'200 staff enquiries about various aspects of the transformation were answered via the intranet
