Watches, jewellery and precious metals
If you import objects containing precious metals to Switzerland, you must report all shipments to a Precious Metal Control Office.
If a consignment is marked as ‘blocked’ by the selection process, the person required to register must send the necessary documents to the relevant Precious Metals Control Office (PMCO).
The PMCO decides as part of the formal review whether a control will be carried out.
